At Norwood veterinary group we are pleased to be once again running our full range of Nurse clinics for your pets. Senior pet health clinics provide a chance to assess the health of pets aged 8 and over.
These nurse lead clinics will be free of charge animals covered by our healthcare plan and animals receiving yearly vaccinations at our practice.
These clinics aim to –
· Raise awareness of any age-related problems that could be overlooked
· Discuss any issues and help you feel confident in caring for senior pets
· Improve quality of life
· Encourage dental health
What to expect during your visit-
· Weight check
· Clip claws if needed
· Dental check
· Urine test
· Discuss diet and mobility
Please note these clinics are conducted by qualified nurses, therefore an examination with a vet will still be needed for prescription medication.
